The challenge
Give a retailer an online sales channel and the tools to manage it. The public storefront and private administration must stay connected around products, availability and orders.
My contribution
- Built the customer-facing e-commerce experience.
- Developed the administrative platform for products, inventory and orders.
- Connected frontend interfaces with backend services and data persistence.
Engineering decisions
- React interfaces connect to a NestJS backend and PostgreSQL database.
- The administration and storefront are two surfaces of one commerce system.
- The original delivery uses Tailwind CSS and Azure infrastructure.
Outcome
A client delivery covering both the public store and its operational administration. The two previously separate portfolio entries now form a single case.
